Take a short walk along the dike between Den Osse and Brouwershaven. Climb the Ouddorp aan Zee lighthouse and look out over Lake Grevelingen and the North Sea. Spot grazing horses on the sandbar Dwars in the Weg. The Grevelingenmeer is perfect for relaxing or water sports.

You can spend hours on the 17-kilometre-long sandy beach of Renesse. Get a breath of fresh air during a walk, build sandcastles with the kids or read a relaxing book in the warm sunshine. After a wonderful day on the beach, you can enjoy a snack and a drink at one of the many beach bars. Renesse beach has the international Blue Flag environmental award. The bathing water is of excellent quality and the beach is kept very clean.

In this authentic school building from 1845, many generations enjoyed Burgh’s education. In the old classroom, on the playground and in the herb garden you go back in time a 100 years.
