Lovely Christmas break at Roompot
Although we stayed at a quiet time of year, the facilities were open, we were able to use the supermarket and enjoy a Christmas cocktail at the bar. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and quiet at night. The proximity to the beautiful beach was amazing!

Enjoyable Vacation
This was our 3rd stay and already booked for 2025. Location to beach, distance from our home and house were all reasons we stay in De Banjaard. The entire team were friendly, informative when questions arised, easy check-in and check-out. The house we rented had plenty of storage space, comfortable furniture, and very large bathtub. House does not have a great deal of decorations all over, which is wonderful. All in all, we were completely satisfied with the house. Plenty of space to walk our dog. The cleaning of the house could be better especially in the main bathroom. We had to request that the shower head and drain be cleaned due to what looked like mold. The kitchen cabinets on the outside seemed not to be cleaned since there were signs that maybe water ran down the face of the cabinets. In the end, the cleaning could be done better. When I searched for a house, one item was a fenced in yard and the house we took did not have that. In my opinion, if a house is indicated that pets are allowed then the yard should be fenced in.

Prachtig huis in een prachtige omgeving
Huis was prachtig en de omgeving waanzinnig, alleen het weer hadden we niet echt mee. Alleen jammer dat het restaurant/terras maar tot 21.00uur geopend was. En het zwembad maar tot 17.00uur geopend was. Had bijvoorbeeld na het eten nog even willen zwemmen.

Disappointed
The house was old, especially the bathroom and shower felt like 40 years old. The kitchen was very badly equipped, no normal sized kitchen knife, just a tiny knife for peeling potatoes etc. no cutting board, no colander for smaller food like rice etc. But the worst was the overall cleanliness of the house. We found a dirty sock under the matress when making the beds, a ladyshave in the shower and hair all over the place. Not to mention the dust. Of course we could have gone to the reception to complain but we realised this only after unpacking all our stuff and with an 8 month old baby, we did not want to lose more time to move to another place. So we cleaned the house as good as possible with the vaccum cleaner that is barely working.

The WIFI password is NOT in the kitchen as advertised on the brochures. Many people including friends I came with and stayed at other tiny houses did not have a clue where the password was. It is NOT in the kitchen.
The password is ON THE INNER SIDE OF THE HIGH KITCHEN DOOR. It is practically impossible to find with the description in the kitchen, which would logically mean over the kitchen counter, where it is not! One needs to open every drawer and every door to find it. Waste of time!!!

It’s the 6th time we come to Banjaard and we were always happy with the houses, but this time it was not ok. The living room was to small for 10 people, there weren’t enough wine glasses of the same size, the cutlery wasen’t complete. But worst of all were the bathrooms, very old and dirty, also the toilets. The couch was disgusting, still full of doghair and repulsing stains, really not ok. In the washing machine, there were still hairs from the previous guests and the dryer was as old as methusalem. We paid a very high price, over 4000€, for a very disappointing house. We are really sad, because we always loved to come to the Banjaard parc.

Were truly bummed out to hear about the issues you encountered during your recent stay. It sounds like the living space didnt quite match up with the social vibe we aim for, especially when youre gathering with a big group. We always aim to provide ample glassware and cutlery, so its a bummer to hear some pieces went on a little adventure. As for the bathrooms and couch, thats really not the kind of experience we want for our guests. Were genuinely sorry that we missed the mark on ensuring everything was spotless and up to date for you. Its definitely a wake-up call for us to double-check and refresh wherever necessary. We want to assure you that cleanliness and comfort are high on our list, and well be looking into how we can make sure everything is in tip-top shape for all our guests. While we dont have air conditioning, we hope the sea breeze kept things cool and comfy for you. Lastly, were glad to hear that youve previously enjoyed the park, and were on a mission to make sure that every visit, including your next one, is back to the standard youve loved before.

Voor herhaling vatbaar!
De accommodatie was zeer net, de infraroodcabine was een grote meerwaarde. De locatie is vlakbij het strand. We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf, een aanrader.

Al vaker een 16persoons huisje gehuurd hier. Maar het was dit keer echt vies. Droger gaf continue storing en de vaatwassers maken zelfs op het 90graden programma niet schoon! Waarschijnlijk door vieze filters. Ook de vriezer was erg vies. Verder zijn huisjes erg gehorig. Wel een prima huis qua oppervlakte, indeling en hoeveelheid wc’s/ badkamers voor zo’n grote groep. Ook het park is lekker rustig en vlakbij het strand. Ook ideaal dat je gebruik mag maken van het groter zwembad op het dichtbij gelegen Roompot park.

Erster Urlaub in de Banjaard
Es fing mit der Freundlichkeit des Personals an. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Die Umgebungen war toll. Die Entfernung zu Sehenswürdigkeiten ist sehr kurz. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Verblijf op de banjaard
De animatie en dingen voor kinderen vallen heel erg tegen tot helemaal niet moesten naar een ander park voor koos te ontmoeten voor 2 jongsten en dingen te doen voor animatie en kids club dit had ik wel verwacht bij een roompot

Terugblik
De ontvangst vond ik summier, had iets uitgebreider en gedetailleerder mogen zijn. Er werd super gereageerd op de kleine klachten die er waren, werd in zover mogelijk gelijk gehandeld. De ruimte mocht groter zijn voor 6 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Maar verder super tevreden.

Die Badezimmer der Unterkunft waren schlicht ausgestattet und wirkten deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Ebenso überraschte mich die Deckenverkleidung im Obergeschoss – sie bestand lediglich aus überstrichenen Spanplatten. Beides erinnerte mich an die Jugendherbergen meiner Kindheit. In diesem Punkt empfand ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis als absolut unzureichend. Sehr positiv empfand ich hingegen den großzügigen Garten des Ferienhauses, das angenehme Ambiente des Ferienparks sowie die Lobby und die daran angrenzenden Einrichtungen.

Gut, könnte aber besser sein
Es ist schon ein Unerschied, ob ein privates Haus weitervermietet wird, oder ob das angemietete Haus dem Roompot gehört. Im letzteren Fall fehlen so simple Dinge wie Flaschenöffner, Küchenmesser oder auch DVD-Recorder. Auch die Gartenbestuhlung und die Aussenpflege sollten in einem besseren Zustand sein -- aber ok, wir waren nur 4 Tage da. Und wir werden wiederkommen

Gepflegte Ferienanlage
Schönes, großes und sauberes Ferienhaus (Duinpan 32), großzügige Räumlichkeiten mit modernen Möbeln, Küche gut ausgestattet (außer fehlender Toaster und Eierkocher - wären wünschenswert - haben wir selbst mitgebracht), Bad klein aber sehr modern, ebenerdige Dusche, großer, gepflegter Garten, Wallbox. Parkplatz vorhanden, könnte etwas größer sein vor allem zum Aufladen von E-Autos etwas länger sein. Wenige Minuten zum Deich, Strand und Meer. Der Gesamteindruck der gepflegten Ferienanlage ist sehr gut! Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in den Karnevalsferien hier und waren sehr zufrieden! Ideale Ausgangslage für Ausflüge in der Region Zeeland und dem Besuch von Strandrestaurants zum Essen (jeweils am Abend bei Sonnenuntergang ein Highlight). In der Nähe gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (z.B. in Kamperland). Wir kommen wieder!

Der Ferienpark wirkt ein wenig wie die Filmkulisse der Truman-Show (steril). Die Straße ist sehr deutlich zu hören. Die Lage zum Strand ist sehr gut.

Wij komen al zeker 12 jaar op De Banjaard. Meerdere villa’s met familie geboekt, maar nu voor de derde keer Eb en Vloed 7 geboekt. Net voor de zomervakantie ook weer een weekje geboekt. Ligging bij het strand, fiets-en wandelroutes, de vele dorpjes om te bezichtigen zijn geweldig. Schoon vakantiepark, het gebruik kunnen maken van het zwembad en het andere zwembad een park verderop van Roompot zijn ideaal en afwisselend. Een kleine winkel voor de kleine boodschappen en broodjes zijn fijn.

Een fijne week met enorme mazzel met het mooie weer. Super dichtbij strand, veel leuke kinderactiviteiten op korte auto/fiets afstand. Faciliteiten op het park zijn ok, veel fijne speeltuinen voor kleintjes. Alleen was het jammer dat we een huisje werden toegewezen buiten het park, met wat verdere afstand tot de faciliteiten, jammer dat dat niet van te voren duidelijk was gemaakt.
