The adventure begins as soon as you leave the motorway. From the family seaside resort Vrouwenpolder you’ll drive towards the dunes via beautiful dykes and country roads. Surrounded by dunes, in a former sandpit, lies our family campsite De Zandput. In former days, besides sand, drinking water was extracted from the dunes. This area now is a natural beauty of peace and quiet right next to the campsite. Wherever you exit the campsite, adventure awaits you: the North Sea beach, towns and villages on the former island Walcheren, the Veerse Meer lake and lots of walking- and cycling paths through woods, dykes and countryside.
The beaches from Vrouwenpolder have a Blue Flag, a European certification for marinas and beaches that are clean and safe.

Price
For a dog or cat, you will pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning of the accommodation is mandatory if you bring a pet. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay. Final cleaning is not applicable for a campsite.

As a guest at this park you enjoy free admittance to the swimming pool at Roompot Beach Resort during your stay.
As soon as the buzzer sounds, the fun begins in the wave pool! The pool starts shallow and gradually slopes down, together with the waves it will surely remind you of the surf of the sea. Next to the shallow area is a separate paddling pool. In need of some action? Rush down the 63-metre slide! In the other pool you can let yourself be carried away in the rapids, through this rush you can acces the outside pool. Both inside and outside there are chairs for you to rest, and at the bar you can buy something to drink and a tasty snack. Finally, the pool area is also home to 2 saunas and a Turkish bath.
Accessibility
The pool has a modified toilet/shower for people with disabilities. There is a wheelchair ramp too, and you can borrow a pool wheelchair.

The swimming pool is located at Sophiaweg 1 in Kamperland. Check the information in the app to see how to access the swimming pool. This also shows exactly when the swimming pool is open. Practical: lockers are available at the changing rooms. Don't forget to bring a €1.00 coin as a deposit.

Zeeland's most varied coastal area is the Manteling van Walcheren. Here you will find high dunes, wet dune valleys and dry grass dunes. There are various walking routes to discover this nature reserve. This nature reserve is also home to the Terra Maris museum and Westhove castle.
Charming city filled with history
You can go on a pleasant stroll in Veere. Old streets, stately trading houses, the Grote Kerk and the famous Town Hall: Veere was once a mighty trading city. The richly laden ships have since given way to yachts, and is a charming place where tourists love to come. A city stroll over the old city walls is an experience all by itself. In the centre, you'll find quaint shops and cosy restaurants. The various ports of Veere are also a good starting point for exploring Lake Veerse.
Adventure for everyone!
With Schotsman Water Sports Centre you can (learn to) water ski or wakeboard on the water ski cable railway. You are pulled around by a ski tow across a distance of 820 metres per round. The speed is around 30 km/h. Children can enjoy the special “kids clinics waterskiën” on the mini cable ski railway. You can also rent canoes, stand-up paddle, windsurf and flyboard. There is a surf shop with recreational clothing and a restaurant. With Schotsman Water Sports Centre no one should be bored!
Good to know
Not all park facilities are always open during the pre- and post-season. As a guest of Camping De Zandput you have free access to Roompot Beach Resort swimming paradise in Kamperland, 10 km from De Zandput.
