Dazzling seaside family park
Whether it is the sound of waves, the salty smell of the water, or the kites high above the dunes, you can always feel that the sea is nearby at Vakantiepark Kijkduin. In this vast green park, situated behind the dunes, it feels as if they invented holidays there. The beach is located at walking distance, there are cosy terraces, wonderful playgrounds, an indoor swimming pool and much, much more! You can stay in a comfortable bungalow, a comfy chalet or on the cosy campsite. Because cars are not allowed in the park, there is plenty of space and the children can play outside all day long. From the park, it is easy to cycle to the bustling boulevards of Kijkduin and Scheveningen. Or if you are interested in Dutch history or simply looking for a couple of new sneakers, then The Hague, with its many sights and shopping streets, is the place to visit. At this park, it is possible to book accommodation where pets are welcome. You can only bring 2 pets per accommodation. There are pet-free accommodations too. There is something for everyone!

Price
For a dog or cat, you will pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a pet. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay.
Bringing an assistance dog
Good to know: different rules apply for assistance dogs. If all the holiday homes where dogs are allowed, are fully booked, your assistance dog is also welcome in a pet-free holiday home. You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. Too cold to swim in the sea? Dive into the indoor swimming pool with whirlpool instead! There is a separate paddling pool for tiny tots.
Access and opening hours
During your holiday at the park, you enjoy free admittance to the swimming pool. You can gain admittance to the swimming pool using your accommodation's key card. The swimming pool is open every day. The exact opening hours are available on the website and in the app. Practical: lockers are available at the changing rooms. The Reception Desk at the swimming pool will provide you with a token for the lockers.

There is always something going on! At this destination, you can take part in a range of activity programs during the Dutch school holidays and in the high season. We organise activities for young and old at least five days a week during these periods. Fun DIY activities are available the rest of the year!

Get in behind the wheel and make your way along the challenging course. As a reward, the children receive a real Roompot Ranger medal, and are invited to an official ceremony organised at the park. We offer the children an adventure that they will remember for a long time to come, and make the parents a proud supporter when the children participate in the ceremony. Rent your own jeep at our Activities and Bikes and head out on an adventure!

The city by the sea
In The Hague, experience a combination of rich cultural offerings, culinary delights and nature. Clear your head during a lovely beach walk or bike ride through the dunes. See iconic masterpieces in one of our many museums, such as the Kunstmuseum Den Haag and the Mauritshuis. Shop in the historic city centre, enjoy fresh fish to haute cuisine and discover the pearls of the city by the sea!
Entire Holland in one city!
Behind two typically Dutch dykes you will find the world-famous Madurodam. This miniature city is a great way to see all the highlights our country has to offer, in miniature. Everything the Netherlands is famous for is rebuilt here to the smallest detail, on a scale 1:25. The park is completed by the two restaurants, the playground, the shop and the lighthouse-picnic field.
A kilometre-long beach in your backyard, that's Scheveningen for The Hague. A lovely place to be four seasons a year. With a glass of Chardonnay on a lounge sofa in the sun or with a sailing jacket full of wind. Whichever season it is, the effect of the fresh breeze remains unchanged; a relaxed, rosy and satisfied holiday feeling.
Adventure is much closer than you think
You can easily spend an entire day in Family Amusement Park Drievliet. Cycle through the air in the Interactive Time-machine, make a 12 m free fall in the Chute or visit the Ghost Museum.... With 4 categories of attractions there is always something for the young as well as the old. Be sure not to miss the spectacular shows!
