Over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. A unique, unforgettable experience!

Noordwijk aan Zee beach is a 13-kilometre-long sandy beach along the coast of Noordwijk. Get a breath of fresh air during a walk, build sandcastles with the kids for hours or just relax with a book in the sun. To outer space!

Experience outer space during a visit to the Space Expo. Europe’s first permanent aerospace exhibition playfully answers questions about space. You can even take flight in a simulator and see how high you can jump on the moon!

Join us for a canal trip in an open boat through Haarlem. Our tour will take you along the city's attractive waterways including the river Spaarne, Haarlem's oldest canal the Bakenessergracht, the Singels and the majestic Nieuwe Gracht. This is a unique way to see the most beautiful buildings and monuments in Haarlem.

The green heart of Leiden

Take a quiet walk through the oldest botanical garden in the Netherlands. Hortus Leiden was built in 1590 and has often been expanded since then. The many special plants and flowers are kept in different greenhouses and gardens. For example, there is a garden full of Chinese herbs in the Clusius garden which was built in 1594, and that can be admired since 2015. A visit to the Hortus is a wonderful experience, with children too. There are lots of fun treasure hunts, for example along the crazy collection of carnivorous plants!

Vogelpark Avifauna is the first and also one of the most famous bird parks in the world. In Avifauna, you go on a quest and meet unique birds from all over the world.

At Duinrell amusement park everyone experiences a fantastic day out. Duinrell offers fun for the whole family. From Waterspin and Splash to the roller coaster Falcon and indoor playground Rick's Fun Factory. At Duinrell Amusement Park there is a lot to do for everyone. The pool "Tikibad" is open all year.

Elvis Presley's Cadillac Fleetwood or James Bond's Aston Martin?

The Louwman Museum is where you will find the world's oldest private collection of motorcars, accumulated by two generations of the Louwman family. Connoisseurs deem it one of the most stunning collections in the world. The King of Rock's Cadillac Fleetwood, James Bond's Aston Martin and cars that belonged to Steve McQueen and Sir Winston Churchill are just a few of the beautiful vehicles for you to admire here.

Entire Holland in one city!

Behind two typically Dutch dykes you will find the world-famous Madurodam. This miniature city is a great way to see all the highlights our country has to offer, in miniature. Everything the Netherlands is famous for is rebuilt here to the smallest detail, on a scale 1:25. The park is completed by the two restaurants, the playground, the shop and the lighthouse-picnic field.

Take up kitesurfing lessons and find out if this is the aquatic sport for you with a 1rst introductory lesson. Suitable for all ages from 9 years and older. An activity to never forget! The kite surfing school is open 7 days a week.
