General
Amounts due
Any amounts due listed on your voucher should be paid to our account straight away. If you have already transferred the amount due to our account or are planning to do so immediately, be sure to bring valid proof of payment (e.g. bank statement). You will need to submit this to the Service point when you arrive. If you do not have valid proof of payment you will be obliged to pay the outstanding amount when you arrive at the park.
Visitors
Friends and family are very welcome. We kindly ask that your visitors report to the Service point if they plan to spend the night.
Parking
If you arrive at Vakantiepark Giethoorn using your own transport, you can park at Restaurant 't Vonder. Address: Binnenpad 14, 8355 BP Giethoorn. The restaurant is about a 400 meters' walk from the holiday park. Cars are not allowed at Giethoorn. Please submit your car licence number before arrival. This can be done via My Roompot or send an e-mail with your details to info@vakantieparkgiethoorn.nl. You're entitled to free parking for one car. The group accommodations Kraaiennest 12 and Vogelbroedplaats 12 can park 3 cars free of charge. Extra cars pay €8.50 per day.
Luggage
There are a number of luggage carts available at the park and in the parking lot for your luggage. Do you have a boat at your holiday accommodation? If so, we recommend checking in first and then picking up your luggage with the boat.
Guarantee
If you rent a holiday accommodation with a sloop between the period February and october, a €35 deposit will be charged for this.
Arrival
Your accommodation will be available from 4 p.m.onwards. If you will be arriving at the park later than 5 p.m., please inform the Service point (tel.: +31 0521 - 361332).
Departure
After your stay, you should vacate your accommodation by 10 a.m.
After you have left, the housekeeping department checks your holiday accommodation for hygiene, missing inventory and damage. This final inspection is the reason that we charge a deposit of € 65 per holiday accommodation per period. If you leave the holiday accommodation according to our rules and your IBAN is known, we will transfer this amount to you 7 days after departure. If the domestic service department has to carry out (cleaning) work, (a part of) the deposit will be retained. You will receive a written notice about this.
