Luggage
You can use a handcart to transport your luggage easily. You'll find handcarts at the beach. Please return the handcart immediately after use so others can use it too.
Accessibility
The Beach Houses are situated on the beach and can be reached by a few steps or stairs. This makes the Beach Houses less suitable for people with walking difficulties. Do you need a beach wheelchair during your stay? You can hire one from Heliomare.
Barbecue and open fire
Barbecuing on the veranda or the beach is not permitted, in line with fire safety requirements and council regulations. Campfires on the beach are also prohibited.
Drinking water
The Beach Houses are connected to the standard water supply. This means you can simply drink the water from the tap.
Pets
You are allowed to bring one or two pets to some of the holiday homes. An additional charge will apply. Pets are permitted at Beach Pavilion De Kust. Let your dog go down to the sea for its toileting and be sure to clean up after it. This will keep the beach clean and safe for children to play on. From May to October, a leash is compulsory between 9:00 and 19:00. About 300 m further down the beach, dogs are always allowed to run loose.
Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi is free for you to use. You'll find the code in your Beach House.
Public transport
Strandhuisjes Wijk aan Zee is easy to reach by public transport. From Beverwijk train station, you can have your feet on the beach within 20 minutes. Arriving at Beverwijk train station, change to Connexxion bus 75 or 78, in the direction of Wijk aan Zee Julianaplein. The bus journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at Heliomare bus stop. From here it's about a 5-minute walk to Strandhuisjes Wijk aan Zee.

Arrival
Your Beach House is available from 16:00. The beds are made for you on arrival. There is also a one-time package of kitchen linen ready for you. for you.
Park and holiday home access
The Beach Houses are not accessible by car, unfortunately it is also not possible to unload luggage on the beach. Upon arrival, you can park free of charge in the Noorderbad public car park at the Dorpsduinen. You can then pick up the key at Strandpaviljoen De Kust, ,after the dune crossing on your left. Here, carts are waiting for you to take your luggage from the car park to your accommodation.
Parking
Parking in Wijk aan Zee is free. The nearest parking area is Parkeerplaats Noorderbad in Dorpsduinen street. This car park is about a 550 m walk to your holiday home.
Departure and administrative processing
Leaving your holiday home neat and tidy
The beach house must be left in a neat and tidy state. You don't have to do the final cleaning — we take care of that. When leaving, please be sure to do the following:
- The dishes washed and cleared.
- The waste bins must be empty, and the waste placed in the appropriate container on the beach.
- Used towels and bed linen in the blue bag provided by the front door.
- Radiators must be set on the lowest setting.
Handing in your key
Make sure you are out of your holiday home by 10:00. Please drop off keys at the Service Point. Leaving early? You can hand in the key at Beach Pavilion De Kust.Refund of the deposit
We will return the deposit to your account within 7 days if the accommodation has been left tidy and damage-free, with nothing missing from the inventory. If this is not the case, we will use the deposit to pay for the repairs or cleaning. We will always let you know.
