A place where the children enjoy themselves for hours in the pool or at the Kids Club while you enjoy a drink on the terrace. The park is also the perfect location for a wonderful beach holiday. Take long walks and search for aquatic life in one of the many puddles or stroll along the convivial boulevard. We also recommend renting a bicycle. Explore the environment and pass by the lighthouse, the dunes and the beautiful flower bulb fields. Or visit the capital city of Amsterdam or the famous cheese market in Alkmaar.

Price
For dogs and cats, you pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a pet. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay.
Bringing an assistance dog
Good to know: different rules apply for assistance dogs. If all the holiday homes where dogs are allowed, are fully booked, your assistance dog is also welcome in a pet-free holiday home. You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. On sunny days, why not take a refreshing dip in Kustpark Egmond aan Zee's outdoor swimming pool! The simple outdoor pool is heated, so you can even swim a few laps a little earlier in the season. There is a separate paddling pool. Rather watch from the side? There are chairs and loungers surrounding the pool.
Access and opening hours
The heated outdoor swimming pool is open every year from the beginning of May to the middle of September. The actual opening dates and times depend on weather conditions. The opening hours are available on the website and in the app. During your holiday at the park, you enjoy free admittance to the swimming pool. You are welcome whenever you like!

Get a breath of fresh air on the sandy beach of Egmond aan Zee. After a day of building sand castles, sunbathing or walking, you can go for a snack and a drink in one of the many beach bars. The beach has the international Blue Flag environmental award. The water is of good swimming quality and the beach is well kept clean.
One of the best tourist locations in the Netherlands!
Spend a fun and educational day at the Zaanse Schans. The Zaanse Schans gives a good impression of what this area looked like in the 18th and 19th centuries. There is plenty to see and do in this unique residential and commercial area with various museums, windmills, traditional crafts, restaurants, a visitor’s centre and the possibility for a cruise!
Visit the pride of the village
The Egmond lighthouse. A landmark, a national monument and the pride of the village. The lighthouse was built in 1833 and shines its light over the village and sea every evening since its renovation in 2019. The lighthouse is also a memorial to Jan Carel Josephus van Speijk. He exploded his ship, with the legendary words ''rather take to the air!''. He stuck a burning cigar in a powder keg and blew up his ship with crew and all.
Organic beer tasting
The beer Sancti Adalberti is brewed at Egmond Brewery. The beers are brewed the traditional way, with organically cultivated grains. This combination of abbey beer and organic brewing is unique and found nowhere else in the world. During the tour with tasting, you will be accompanied by an expert employee or volunteer. You will be enjoying a tasting with local organic snacks in the tasting room.
