National Park De Groote Peel is best known for its many bird species. You will find many waterbirds, breeding sites and migratory birds here. The nature reserve is a 'wetland': a marshy area that is very important for the surrounding nature. You can enjoy hiking, cycling and photography here.

A visit to the largely indoor amusement park is a surprising experience every day. One can go on the roller coaster, the Harakiri water ride or the lightning-fast Aqua Snake. Back through time in Castle Geldrop

The moment you enter castle Geldrop, you go back centuries in time. The story begins in the 14th century when Phillip van Geldrop was lord and master of the castle. Around the castle you can go hiking in a beautiful park in English landscape style. There is also an exhibition area and a petting zoo. Between July 1 and August 30 you get free entrance to the ground floor and the exhibition space.

Come for a unique experience

This centre for innovative contemporary art, surrounded by nature, is unique in the Dutch cultural landscape. Odapark has a changing program of exhibitions, a statue forest with arts of international artists and the Oda Shop full of surprising items. On Sunday afternoons you can also enjoy a varied music program in the teahouse.

History comes to life in the Historical Room

A historical survey of DAF's colourful history is presented in an attractive room on the first floor of the museum. Here the curator and boardmember of the DAF Museum Friends Foundation, Mr Hans Staals, presents a permanent visualisation of the company's history.

Experience the evolution of technology

Developments in science and technology have given rise to many thousands of Philips products. The exhibition of Philips Historical Products has succeeded in illustrating the development of the product categories with a unique selection of appliances, many of which are still in working order. They give visitors a good impression of Philips's historical heritage from its beginnings in 1891.

The museum is located in a large park, where a historic battle raged in September - October 1944. The museum is a lasting reminder of the Second World War, but also a monument to reflect on the violence and war of today. 'Overloon' is a modern, educational and catchy museum.

The most natural zoo of The Netherlands!

In Overloon (province of Brabant), in the vicinity of the woods and the river Maas, you will find an surprisingly natural zoo including a botanic garden. The visitor can have an exciting trip along many special animal and plant species. Special animals: At Zoo Park Overloon you will find, apart from well-known animals such as raccoons and parrots, also many unknown and rare species.

History with real people

Go on a journey of discovery to the past, and meet real historical inhabitants. Old crafts, exciting stories - the inhabitants of prehistoric times really let you experience history. A guide will take you through time, but you can also go and explore on your own. The Hunter's Camp, in the herb garden or the Roman workshop, where shall we start? Time boxes are also hidden throughout the village. The contents of the boxes include clothing and food from the era you're in at that moment.

Enjoy the scents and colours

On a total surface area of 40,000 m2 you will see thousands of roses in over 400 different variations, mostly planted in large beds, surrounded by green, peaceful landscape. In summer, you will find a wide assortment of flowering shrub, rambling and standard roses in the adjoining garden centre, grown in containers for direct sale.
