Family gathering in the forest
We had a family reunion with 28 of us from 3 generations, including 6 children ranging from 8 weeks to 10 years. It was the perfect place for our gathering with something for everyone. We were in 3 different bungalows but all came together in the largest, which had plenty of room inside and out. We loved the trees and the birdsong and the forest next to the park.

Very good
This is the fourth time I have stayed in this park. ,but this time The lack of a sink in the bathroom and its presence in the bedroom bothered us a lot and made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay.

The experience was great and there were plenty of activities, friendly personnel which were helpful. Only for the checking in the cards for entering the vacation home were not working and the stair gates were not present as well for the bed linen. Both were resolved pretty fast and because of the personnel that were kind and resolving the issues fast made our staying into a pleasant stay. If you are fan of different kinds of beers, you are a the right place. The mini market within the park offer over 500 kinds of beer.

American Thanksgiving in the Netherlands
My brother moved to Alblasserdam about 5 years ago. We have a big family and we missed sharing the holiday. My sister and my other brother brought our families to stay in the park for a 10 day visit. My nephew in-law recommended the park and had stayed with friends in the past. We added the sheets and towel service as well as the final clean to our stay. We thought the staff were very friendly and the park itself was well maintained. The parks distance from the local highways and mature landscape made it quiet and peaceful. The park was busier near the weekends but we didnt have any complaints about noise or traffic. We made frequent use of the parks grocery store and we used the laundry but we were often out visiting the local towns from Ghent to Amsterdam. The parks central location made a trip in any direction possible. We hosted an American Thanksgiving in the main room and found the space to be perfect for our familys holiday.

Katjeskelder 8 person accommodation
Very nice setup. Lots of space. Enjoyed our stay. Kids enjoyed the play park and swimming pool. Will go again.

Nice houses, friendly and helpful staff, good location. Swimming pool and parks were good. Liked the little touches like mini parks around each cluster of houses. Outside of the style of house we were staying in could benefit from some cleaning to the cladding, inside we really liked the updated look.

Return visit from the UK
We come every year from England as our main family holiday. This year we bought another large family with us in a seperate house. We had a great time, this year was better as there was entertainment until late in the evening which we didn’t have last year. We will be coming back for our fifth visit next year.

We purposely decided to pay extra to be bear the playground with the expectation that our children could olay in the playground neaby while we watch from the house. The playground was near enough to hear all thr comotion but not accessible from the house. This was very dissapointing and had a bad influence on our stay

My stay was brilliant. We felt at home all the time. It felt so safe being here. Wouldve preferred to have bed linen and towels rather than bring our own. The flights we use have limited language and it was a bit difficult to pack the items..

Ive been in the Katjeskelder numerous times. This time I came with my daughter and 4 year old grandson. The place is very safe for small children and there is stuff to do. We were on a family visit in Dongen. So all that was all perfect. I thought that you had to pay extra for towels and there were no washhandjes was a bit much. There was no soap beside the handwash basins. Also we were supposed to put the bed sheets in blue plastic bags, but there were no plastic bags. We had food from the snack bar and that was lovely. The shop on site was well stocked.

Ok park but very dirty bungalow
Very dirty bungalow. Wasn’t cleaned at all. And when highlighting at the reception on arrival,, they just said ‘we’ll note it’, without offering cleaning not come by. How nonchalant can you be

Een groene plek met veel speeltuintjes
We liked the surroudings a lot. A lot of trees a lot of playareas. We indoorswimming pool is a bit to small for all the houses. Good there was a warm outdoor pool aswell.

Not enough stuff translated in English or no English menus, also signs in Dutch last day asking us to do stuff I didnt understand, luckily my mum is dutch and translated for us as we didnt know what was going on or where we had to drop things off or what cam or cant be recycled as it was in Dutch too

Katjeskelder
Er was weinig volk, dus dat maakte het voor ons wel aangenamer. Er was voldoende parking. Het zwembad was proper en qua leeftijd ideaal voor ons dochtertje (5 jaar). Er waren voldoende activiteiten in en rondom het park. Ook het winkeltje is ideaal alsook het restaurant en snackbar boden voldoende variatie. Koos was ook leuk alsook de activiteit. De openingsuren mochten voor ons wel wat langer. Het huisje was ideaal en lag centraal. Ik miste wel een glazen deur tussen de kamers en de badkamers om de warmte binnen te houden, het was te koud om zo een bad te nemen of te douchen.

Prima park
Ik dacht bij de Katjeskelder aan een megagroot park. Het is inderdaad groot,maar op de kampeervelden heb je het gevoel van kleinschaligheid. Wat ik erg prettig vond

Een leuk weekend naar de Katjeskelder
We hebben de Katjeskelder geboekt omdat we dit weekend in deze omgeving wilden zijn. We hebben ons van tevoren niet echt een voorstelling van gehad hoe het er zou zijn, maar het huisje zag er fantastisch uit. Heerlijk gelegen, met een buiten terras en van binnen heel goed verzorgd , schoon en met mooi meubilair, een prima geoutilleerde keuken, prima bedden en behalve bij elke kamer een douche ook nog een ligbad. Heel goed verzorgd. De bediening bij de receptie was eveneens heel goed verzorgd. We werden vriendelijk te woord gestaan en onze vragen werden ter plekke beantwoord en opgelost. Daar waren we erg blij mee. We hebben een leuk weekend gehad.

Hele fijne speeltuinen, erg leuk voor alle leeftijden. Zwembad was te druk helaas. Veel aanbod in supermarkt, je loopt zo de natuur in. Misschien uitleg over het voeren van de eekhoorns

Verblijf katjeskelder
Ben van 11 april tot 14 april met mijn gezin totaal 8 personen op de katjes kelder geweest om mijn 75 ste verjaardag te vieren. Over het verblijf en de accommodatie ben ik zeer tevreden. Maar over het familie diner veel minder. Gezien de prijs die ze er voor vragen en de aanbeveling was het niet wat onze verwachtingen waren. Veel te duur voor wat er aangeboden werd.
