General

Air-conditioning

Much of our accommodation is air-conditioned. If your accommodation has air-conditioning and you would like to use it, you can hire the air-conditioning remote control from reception. You will be charged a fixed amount per midweek, weekend or week. There is also a deposit. Want to be certain that you will have air-conditioning? Ask at reception whether your preferred house number is equipped with it.

Amounts due

Any amounts due listed on your voucher should be paid to our account straight away. If you have already transferred the amount due to our account or are planning to do so immediately, be sure to bring valid proof of payment (e.g. bank statement). You will need to submit this to the Service point when you arrive. If you do not have valid proof of payment you will be obliged to pay the outstanding amount when you arrive at the park.

Visitors

Friends and family are very welcome. We kindly ask that your visitors report to the Service point if they plan to spend the night. 

Assurance

We kindly ask you to hand over the completed authorisation form at the Service point, upon arrival at the park, as opposed to of paying a cash deposit.

Arrival, access and check-in

You are welcome at our park from 3 p.m. onwards. You may check in until 5 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays. If you arrive on another day or after closing time of the Service point, please contact the Service point on tel.: 0031 (0)434 591 400.

Car and parking

Schin op Geul is a low-traffic park. This means you must park your car in the central parking. Guests in bungalows 118 to 145 can park 1 car in the car park between accommodation 135 and 136. The other cars can be parked in the central parking. If you have a disabled parking card or a doctor's certificate, you can apply for a parking waiver, which will allow you to park near the holiday home.

You can however briefly bring a car into the park on arrival and departure days when loading and unloading luggage.

Departure & administrative handling

Departure

We kindly ask that you check out of your accommodation before 10 a.m. on the day of your departure. 

Leaving your holiday home neat and tidy 

After you have left, the housekeeping department checks your holiday accommodation for hygiene, missing inventory and damage. This final inspection is the reason that we charge a deposit of € 65/€ 115 per holiday accommodation per period. If you leave the holiday accommodation according to our rules and your IBAN is known, we will transfer this amount to you 7 days after departure. If the domestic service department has to carry out (cleaning) work, (a part of) the deposit will be retained. You will receive a written notice about this.

This applies to bookings with an arrival date that is at least 30 days from the day of booking. You can cancel easily via My Roompot. Did you book a last-minute holiday with arrival within 30 days? Or do you want to cancel after 14 days? Then our normal cancellation rates apply.
