The most natural zoo of The Netherlands!
In Overloon (province of Brabant), in the vicinity of the woods and the river Maas, you will find an surprisingly natural zoo including a botanic garden. The visitor can have an exciting trip along many special animal and plant species. Special animals: At Zoo Park Overloon you will find, apart from well-known animals such as raccoons and parrots, also many unknown and rare species.
The museum is located in a large park, where a historic battle raged in September - October 1944. The museum is a lasting reminder of the Second World War, but also a monument to reflect on the violence and war of today. 'Overloon' is a modern, educational and catchy museum.
Climbing for true adventurers
Do you feel like an adventurous day high in the trees? Fifteen minutes away from Vakantiepark Schaijk, you will find Klimpark Uden. There are several beautiful routes full of adventure for children over the age of 8. And for the real daredevils, there's the black route, reaching up to 14 meters above the ground. Take a look at the Boulder Garden, and climb away. Here, you can choose between 30 different routes. In short: a day filled with excitement and adrenaline.
