At the activity centre, you will learn everything about birds, and once it's dark, you can enjoy the beauty of the night sky here. On clear nights, you can see the Milky Way in all its splendour here. There are 3 places where you can see the night sky well. That's possible at the Lauwernest Activity Centre, the Achter de Zwarten watchtower and the Vlinderbalg watchtower. Every year, many fun and educational activities are organized for young and old.

A unique cruise on the Wadden Sea

Go on a boat trip and spot seals sunbathing on the sandbanks in the Wadden Sea. Along the way, you will hear an explanation about the special nature reserve that's included on the World Heritage list for good reason. The Wadden Sea is the largest tidal area in the world.
