Every season, Bergresort Winterberg offers something different. In the summer, staying in your apartment, you’re just a few steps away from nature and during the winter months you can be on the slope in no time. Explore the rugged mountain landscape together, going hiking or cycling or mountain biking, or go for an adventure and do one of the ropes courses amidst the trees. Winterberg is the perfect place for skiing or snowboarding. The area offers plenty of blue and red slopes, is child-friendly and thanks to snow canons you can enjoy fresh snow almost certainly, from mid-December until mid-March. Once back in the mountain resort after your outdoor activities, you can take time to relax. From your spacious balcony you can see much of the village and in the sauna you can totally relax your muscles.

Ski area with 28 km of slopes
The Skiliftkarussell near Winterberg is by far the largest and most famous interconnected ski area in the Sauerland. When the snow is good, thousands of winter sports enthusiasts gather here to enjoy the gentle slopes of the Sauerland. So much has been invested in Winterberg's lifts and infrastructure in recent years that some areas in the Alps look envious. Several slopes are also lit, making it possible to ski in the evening.
Good to know
The ski lift to the slopes, where also several cross-country trails start from, is at some 15 minutes walking from the mountain resort. At just a few minutes walking you will find a bus stop. There are 2 buses per hour, throughout the week. The apartments can only be reached via a staircase. As such, they are not suitable for disabled guests. At walking distance from the resort you will find centre with a great number of shops, a bowling alley, a large supermarket, restaurants, cafes with terraces, a railway station, bike rental, a swimming pool and a disco.
At 350 meters from Bergresort Winterberg there are 2 charging stations for electric cars.
