Nearby, but very different. That is the best description of the Bad Bentheim park. The rolling hills with their primeval forests, the picturesque villages and the imposing castle, they all breathe history. That historic feeling is also what you get at the park. The traditional villas and the stylish central building, all surrounded by ancient trees, immediately give special feeling when entering. Of course there are all the modern necessities in the holiday homes and on the park. From free Wi-Fi, children’s entertainment and restaurant to the municipal waterpark with various indoor and outdoor pools located directly next to the park to which you have free access.
To fully appreciate the atmosphere of the surroundings, we advise you to start your day with a walk in the Bentheimer Wald, to visit the famous Stronghold of Bad Bentheim, and enjoy a Kaffee und Kuchen in a traditional Gaststätte. A Weißbier with bratwurst is also really nice to try. Daytrips to the Nordhorn Zoo, the Isterberg and the beautiful province town Munster complement your holiday.

Price
For dogs and cats, you pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a pet. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay.
Bringing an assistance dog
Good to know: different rules apply for assistance dogs. If all the holiday homes where dogs are allowed, are fully booked, your assistance dog is also welcome in a pet-free holiday home. You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. As a Ferienresort Bad Bentheim guest, you can swim for free at Badepark Bentheim. As often as you like. This municipal swimming pool is located opposite the park and consists of an indoor swimming pool, a kiddies pool and an outdoor swimming pool. Swimming fun for everyone. You can pick up your entry ticket at the Service point. You can also use the extensive sauna landscape (for a fee).
The unique outdoor pool is filled with spring water. So no chlorine! What a pleasant surprise. And extra nice when diving off the 'tower'. Children will have fun on the 60-metre slide. There is a speedometer at the end of the slide. Who slides down the fastest? More information? Check out the Badepark Bentheim website. The pool has modified, extra spacious changing rooms. The entrance is at ground-level and a hoist is available.
