A beautiful campsite in a beautiful area
The lovely campsite La Ribeyre is situated in Murol, France, at an altitude of 800 meters. Situated between the massif of Sancy and the 80 old volcanoes of the Chaîne des Puys nature reserve, this is a dream location for nature lovers. But with the private lake, an outdoor pool with slides and an indoor swimming pool on the campsite, water lovers are not lacking anything here either. In fact, a fully furnished cottage at the La Ribeyre campsite is a perfect destination for the whole family. A wonderful place for hiking, cycling or mountain biking, but the water sports on the nearby Lake Chambon with its landscaped beach is mega fun too. It is a special experience to discover the surroundings anyway, the special mountain routes provide spectacular views. Auvergne is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to the remains of the 80 different volcanoes, but the entire area is truly magnificent.
No time for boredom, but certainly for relaxation
Trips to Château de Murol are of course fun, but there is also plenty to do and discover for all ages on the campsite. The children will truly enjoy all the swimming and sports opportunities and the playground, but the entertainment and the kids club for different ages too. Not only can you swim in the private lake, but canoeing or paddle boarding is also an option here. You can rent a canoe on the campsite, just like the bicycles. Of course, you can end the day together in the pizzeria or in the restaurant. If you prefer to eat at your holiday home, under the stars, there are takeaway options and a snack bar too.
