Go on an adventure in the Flanders countryside
Does a verdant, forested setting make your heart sing too? If so, the small-scale Roompot Park Eksel is your ideal holiday destination. In the National Park Bosland region, Limburg's green lung, you can exercise and revive to your heart's content. This vast forest is right by the park and covers the Lommel, Pelt, Peer and Hechtel regions. Besides woodland there are also lakes, dunes and heathland. Head out on your mountain bike and work up a sweat on the challenging dirt tracks. Children can clamber and play carefree in one of the climbing forests. Or, go for a gentle stroll or bike ride along the countless pathways. In fact, Limburg is the ultimate cycling province of Flanders with no less than 2,000 km of cycle paths. In National Park Bosland you can even cycle along the tree tops, through the water and the heather. Now that's a unique experience! Make sure you have a pit stop to sample the local food and beverages along the way. Of course, you can explore the area on your e-bike too. After a ride, you can charge your bike at the charging point at the park. If you travel by electric car, No problem! you can also charge your car at the park.
Everything in one spot
The surroundings are beautiful, but at Roompot Park Eksel you won't be bored for a moment either. Hit some balls on the Padel court or let the kids romp around in the indoor and outdoor playground. Shopping for supper can be done at the mini-market. Would you prefer to have a bite to eat somewhere else? Pop in at the restaurant or bask in the sun on our terrace.

Facilities
At this park, it is possible to book accommodation where pets are welcome. You can only bring 2 pets per accommodation. There are pet-free accommodations too. There is something for everyone!

Price
For a dog or cat, you will pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a pet. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay.
Bringing an assistance dog
Good to know: different rules apply for assistance dogs. If all the holiday homes where dogs are allowed, are fully booked, your assistance dog is also welcome in a pet-free holiday home. You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. The largest adventure forest in Flanders
Dreaming among the trees: nowhere do you do it zorn alternately as in the north of Limburg. This is where Bosland, Flanders' largest adventure forest, reigns supreme. 6,517 hectares of top-class nature. Where even the wolf feels at home. Bosland bundles sixteen nature reserves. Each with its own character. Wading through a desert or cycling along a canal. Conquer tall country dunes or marvel at sparkling blue lakes. Horse-riding through heathland or walking through grasslands. Going on expeditions with the kids or hiding in a play forest. Whichever setting you choose, nature lends itself to your favourite activity. The many rare plants and animals welcome you!
This is Eindhoven
Eindhoven is the design capital of the Netherlands for a reason. The city is bursting with museums, design studios and art centres. Admire visual and contemporary art at the Van Abbemuseum or visit the Philips Museum located in the very first Philips light bulb factory. Prefer shopping? Eindhoven has a fine mix of well-known brands and local boutiques. End the day with a nice dinner in one of the many restaurants.
A cycling experience up high
Bosland is a true adventure forest, with a lot to discover. Here, you're not only cycling under the trees, but also through the trees. A large, circular bicycle bridge allows the path to rise to a height of 10 metres. So you suddenly cycle or walk way up in the tree tops! On the 700-meter-long path, you will experience the forest in a completely different way. This special experience can be found at bicycle junction 272, in the heart of the nature reserve of the Pijnven.

The Roompot Park Eksel outdoor water playgrounds are open during the spring and summer months. You can use our padel court all year round.
